Crown Ministry Opportunities

Center Point Church of The Nazarene seeks to address the need to teach Biblical financial principles to enable Christians to live their lives in harmony with God’s stewardship purposes for their lives.  This is accomplished by offering the teaching of God’s principles of money management through Crown Ministries to all ages with in our church. 

Individual study is encouraged through workshops, seminars and advanced studies with the goal of being to train as many church members as possible on these principles enabling our members to gain personal financial freedom and to be free to follow God’s will.

The training is offered on a regular basis consistent with regular church promotions and activities. 

Children (ages 5-12)

“ABC’s of Handling Money” – (ages 5- 7).  This teaching uses an interesting story and fun activities to teach kids the basics about money.  Designed for ages 5 to 7, it features the adventures of Elizabeth, Paul, Sarah and Juan as they try to save enough money to buy a puppy.

“The Secret of Handling Money God’s Way” – (ages 8-12).  This teaching designed for Children 8 to 12 and features the adventures of Maria, Josh, Andy and Ruth as they find how to earn, save, give and spend money and important things about God.

Teens  (ages 13-15)

“The Teen Study” This study is a 10-week, in-depth study targeted to the Teen and is designed to help Teens create habits that will set them on a lifelong journey of handling money responsibly. It targets specifically the lifestyle of instant gratification and the inability or unwillingness to live within one’s means.

College (ages 18-21)

“The Collegiate Biblical Financial Study” This study is a 10-week, in-depth study of what Scripture teaches about money and possessions targeted specifically for the college student. It covers most items taught in the Biblical Financial Study while concentrating on making sound decisions to avoid future financial mistakes.

Adult  

“Adult Small Group Biblical Financial Study” This study is a 10-week, in-depth study of what Scripture teaches about money and possessions. This is the primary study course offered to all adults to train them in how to apply Biblical principles in all aspects of money management and enter into a closer relationship with Jesus Christ as they learn to apply His word.

“The Treasure Principle Workshop” This study is a 6-week study designed to build on the Small Group Study.  It focus’s on teaching the student on how to become a generous and cheerful giver. Students are challenged to learn how to give substantially and in a way that causes lasting change.

“Special Edition Biblical Financial Study” This study is a specifically for those people entrusted with wealth or significant income.  With fewer financial limitations to serve as boundaries, those with significant resources face unusual challenges.  The study addresses the Bible’s specific instructions, principles and even warnings intended to help the wealthy navigate through almost unlimited choices.

“Business by The Book Small Group Study” This study is a designed especially for business executives and business owners to learn how the Bible, in a practical way, can help them succeed in the business world.  Focus is on “how to” conduct business according to Biblical principles, build a network of peers and professionals to discuss the challenges one faces daily in the business world.                       

The current class on Biblical Financial Study is full but will be offered again in January 2007 with several other classes. Watch for updates on this site.
