Discipleship and Worship

It is our desire that we teach your child the importance of living a life that is pleasing and acceptable to God.  We accomplish this by making everything we do  relevant for children birth through 5th grade. So what is relevant for children?  We live in a society that lives on video games and Disney World. Everything our kids face today  involves high definition, stunning graphics and much more.  The old traditional way of church will not work for this  generation, we have to meet them where they are.

Bible Based

Everything that we teach is Bible based and teaches kids that we are to live our lives in a way that shows the Word of God is alive in our life. The Bible is God’s Word and we offer several ways for your kids to learn about and live out God’s Word.

Sunday School 9:00 am   A  time for relevant and age appropriate activities that get kids interacting with God’s Word and learning Biblical lessons that teach truth.

Children’s Church and Kinder Church 10:30am Sunday  A time for age appropriate praise and worship activities for preschoolers to 5th grade.  (Babies - twos have age appropriate activities at this time too.)

Quizzing (September - February)   Quizzing is an in-depth   Bible study for kids 1st—5th grade with a competitive component. Each year we study a new book of the Bible. There are

two skill levels; red for beginners and blue for the more advanced quizzers.

Kid Friendly

Kids are full of energy and excitement and that is what they need. Journey Children’s Ministries  strives to give kids a place that allows them to show off their musical side with kid friendly worship songs; their fun side with kid friendly games and activities, and their creative side with skits, puppets, sound and more!  Journey Kids is not only a place for kids to have fun, but a place for kids to grow spiritually in their walk with the Lord. It is our desire that kids will have a resounding love for God and His Church.
