| Center Pointe Community Church of the Nazarene,
located in Orlando, Florida was founded on May 20, 1943 with 17
charter members under the name Central Church of the Nazarene. Just
four days later, property that would be occupied for the next 62
years on Jackson and Lake Streets was purchased for $5,800. In
subsequent years, a ministry facility was constructed on this
property.
In August 2002 members of the Central Community Church of the
Nazarene partnered with Orlando Central Community to purchase 79
acres of property on the corner of State Road 417 and Curry Ford
Road. The Church officially changed its name to Center Pointe
Community Church of the Nazarene in 2004. In June 2005 a new
multi-purpose church facility was completed on the Curry Ford Road
property where the Church currently meets. The Issuer now plans to
payoff the outstanding Colonial Bank, N.A. Loan with proceeds from
this Bond issue. |
